New Price System 2012

Dechen Chöling is happy to announce a new price system for 2012 which we hope is more up to date, easier to apply and more efficient for the administration. From 2012 on, we will offer the following three options:
1. Regular Programme Price: this price includes costs for full board per night (basic accommodation*, 3 meals per day) and programme fees.
2. Early Bird option: this price contains a 10% discount of the regular price and applies if you register and pay the full amount at least 2 months before the programme start. We offer an Early Bird option since it helps Dechen Chöling administration’s efficiency and to plan better ahead financially.
3. Discounted price: this price contains a 25% discount of the regular price and reflects Dechen Chölings commitment to keeping programmes affordable. It is meant for younger people, students, the elderly, unemployed people and people not being able to pay the full fee due to their financial situation, - basically, if your monthly net income is below 1.000 Euros. Please note that this option is only available with basic accommodation*. Exceptions can be made for severe health reasons. You cannot combine Early Bird with this option.
We definitely would not want your financial situation be an obstacle to come for a programme at Dechen Chöling. So, please contact us personally in case you are unsure about this option or would like to pay in installments or would like to discuss the opportunity of a scholarship.
4. Everyone is invited to choose the option that works best for them.
5. Discounts apply for programme costs and room/board during a programme. All other fees, e.g. transport fees, membership, additional visitor days, material fees etc. are not subject to any discount.
6. There are exceptions for several programmes, for which we cannot offer any discounts, e.g. advanced Shambhala path programmes.

Note for the transition time: changes will be valid in the online registration form in a few weeks. Until then, please note in the commentary field during your registration, if you wish to choose the Early Bird option or the discounted price. Thank you.

*Basic accommodation: dormitory or own tent in the winter season; Dechen Chöling tent or own tent in the summer season.
