A 5-day intensive retreat to deepen the practice of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).

A week of deepening the practice of mindfulness: We will practice mindfulness meditation in its different forms (sitting, walking, standing and lying down), as well as simple Yoga and streching exercises to ground ourselves in the body.

Silence will be observed for most of the retreat. We will also practice mindfulness in action (simple work tasks). Personal guidance for the practices will be offered.

This retreat is open to practioners of MBSR (mindfulness based stress reduction), as well as everyone interested in the practice of mindfulness/awareness.

This week long retreat is specifically recommended  for all who are practicing or teaching MBSR and those who intend to do so in the future.



Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a programme of practical, scientifically-supported teachings to reduce stress, facilitate relaxation, and promote physical health and emotional well-being. Inspired by the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn, this retreat offers tools for engaging the demands of our lives, including illness, chronic pain, personal crisis, or the ongoing challenges of a "full catastrophe". By relating directly with our bodies, emotions and our hearts, we'll discover the power of mindfulness to change our lives. Through sitting, walking, and body scan meditation practices - as well as mindful yoga - we will return to our lives better equipped to manage daily or extraordinary stress situations.

This retreat is taught in French. Translation into English or other languages are available at no extra costs. Please give us notice of your request as early as possible - about 2 months in advance -, so that we can provide translation service.
