Vajra Garchen Registration Closed

Because attendance at Vajrayana Seminary is more than expected, we have to limit the number of participants to the Vajra Garchen with Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. We have started a waiting list and new applicants will be accepted if there are any cancellations.

Summer Volunteer Programme

Come spend all or part of the summer as a volunteer staff member, practicing and studying in the Shambhala Buddhist tradition, and earning credit towards future programmes.

How to get here

Dechen Chöling is the residential practice centre of the European Shambhala Buddhist community. The centre sits in a land of rolling meadows and magnificent old trees near Limoges, France. People from around the world come to learn and practice meditation, and to relax within the beauty of the land. Throughout the year, Dechen Chöling offers programmes ranging from basic meditation and contemplative arts to advanced Buddhist and Shambhala teachings taught by renowned teachers.
