Visitor Registration
Come to Dechen Chöling when you can for a few days or more, to retreat from your busy life, and to participate in meditation, life and work here. Enjoy the beautiful land and the surroundings; join into work in the kitchen, garden, facilities or household and into the rhythm of the community of people living here.
"Simplicity" Personal Retreat
Price: 30 Euros per night full board. This includes basic accommodation (tent in the summer, dormitory in the winter), three meals a day, a meditation instruction and daily meditation. All visitors are asked to join in 1 hour in work per day.
Visits and personal retreats are possible throughout the year unless Dechen Chöling is booked out during large programmes.
Please give us notice of the following when registering for a visit below:
- accommodation upgrades
- pick-up and drop-off at Limoges train station and airport
- short information about your meditation practice (beginner, advanced, practice level)
Payment: After registration, please pay a deposit of 30 Euros to one of our bank accounts or contact the finance office at finance@dechencholing.org to arrange a money transfer by credit card. You can pay the remaining amount when you get here. Please be aware, that due to our legal status in France as an association, all visitors need to pay an annual membership fee of 12 Euros.
