This programme by Eva Wong consists of two intensives of traditional Chinese Qigong:
Qigong Breath Regulation Intensive
Talk: Breath, Vital Energy, and Vapor
The regulation and control the breath is the foundation for preserving, cultivating, transforming, circulating vital energy (qi).
In this programme students will learn how to pump the Bellows, and practice the Fish Breathing and Fetal Breathing techniques that are designed to enhance the circulation of qi. When qi is plentiful and its movement is unhindered, the body will be revitalized and the mind will be clear.
Standing Qigong Intensive
Talk: Zhou Dunyi’s Treatise on the Taiji Principle
Standing qigong is one of the most powerful and challenging practices for preserving, collecting, transforming, circulating, and storing internal energy.
In this programme students will:
1. Learn the Twelve Wudang Standing Qigong Forms.
2. Receive individualized instruction on the eight postures of Yiquan Zhangzhuan.
3. Learn how to combine the standing qigong techniques of Xiantianwujimen into a unified method of circulation of internal energy
The prerequisite for Qigong Breath Regulation and Standing Qigong Intensives is the Tendon-Changing and Marrow-Washing Intensive.
This programme is a prerequisite for Qigong Level 6.
Practical info
Arrival day (Tuesday April 2): You’re invited to come from 4 pm in order to register and settle in your room. Dinner is served at 6.45 pm. Programme commences at 9am the following day.
End of programme: The retreat will end on April 6 at 6pm. Departure day is Sunday April 7.
This programme is taught in English. Free translation into French or other languages needs to be confirmed. Important: translation services are possible only if you register your request at least two months in advance of the programme.
