This week will be spent mainly in silence. Talks, instructions and discussions will also be part of the programme. The peaceful surroundings and beauty of Dechen Chöling at this time of year support the reflective and quiet atmosphere of the retreat.

Through the practice of meditation, we glimpse unconditional goodness as the ground of our existence. This immersive week helps us open to ourselves with gentleness and appreciation and begin to see our potential as genuine and compassionate human beings.

The retreat will include meditation instruction and practice, silence, mindfulness exercises, contemplative meals and some free time to stroll around the land, read and enjoy time with yourself. An individual interview on your meditation experience is offered if requested.

Open to everyone, no experience needed. Great for beginners – as well as experienced meditators who would like to deepen their practice and enjoy the beauty of silence.

Qualified retreat for the fulfillment of the MBSR teaching requirement.

Humanity is constantly experiencing its core openness through thoughts of curiosity, love, understanding—and even sadness or pain.
