Warrior Assembly
A living teaching in creating enlightened society.
Building on the Heart of Warriorship and the Sacred Path programmes, Warrior Assembly introduces powerful practices and teachings on the Ashe principle. This Assembly focuses on how to develop fearlessness in engaging as a warrior in the world. Participants receive transmission and training in advanced Shambhala practices along with a text written by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche.
At Warrior Assembly, the combination of profound teachings and practices, strong container, drala-filled environment and supportive community of fellow warriors unleashes the power of this programme. It is a potent opportunity for the European community to make a fresh start.
Prerequisites
The prerequisites for Warrior Assembly are:
- Successful completion of the Heart of Warriorship Series (Shambhala Training Levels 1-5).
- Successful completion of The Sacred Path Series (Great Eastern Sun through Golden Key).
If you are missing some requirements please make sure to speak about the programme with the person you are asking to recommend you and indicate it in your letter of application.
Applying and Registering: Two Steps for New Warriors
- Apply through Dechen Chöling and wait to receive your letter of acceptance. The applications will be processed in a timely manner, though in some cases, it may take up to four weeks. Apply here
- Only after you have been accepted, you will be able to register on the DCL website
Practical information
Arrival day (July 5, Sunday): Orientation talk at 8 pm. You’re invited to come from 4 pm in order to register and settle in your room. Dinner is served at 6.30 pm.
End of programme (July 15, Wednesday): End of the retreat in the evening.
Departure day (July 16, Thursday): You may leave anytime (no programme). You’re welcome to stay for lunch.
This programme is taught in English. The programme will be translated into French and Spanish. We will also be using AI assistance for translation into other languages. Requests for interpretation in other languages need to be made in advance and confirmed (please indicate your are requesting interpretation on the registration page).
There will be an extra fee for the material and texts that you will need.
