Buddhist since 1985, she had the incredible good fortune of attending the Vidyadhara Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche‘s teaching during his last visit to Europe. Received teachings from and took Samaya oath with Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. She raised three children and is working for a Tropical Forest Foundation in Bonn.
