Arnd Riester

Arnd Riester is a practicing Shambhala-Buddhist since 1991. Since 1998 he teaches in the Shambhala Lineage. In 2010 he was appointed as a Shastri. He served 7 years in this teaching role base in Cologne and part time in Prag. Sakyong Mipham empowered him in September 2017 as Acharya to represent him and the Kagyu, Nyingma, and Shambhala lineages he holds. Arnd Riester lives with his wife and two kids in Cologne, Germany. He is a professional goldsmith; he runs two shops in Cologne and Bad Honnef, where he presents his own jewellery work with his business partners.
