Diederik Prakke

Diederik is an author, trainer, and coach, currently working in the Netherlands on employee engagement (Works Councils). Educated as an irrigation engineer, he worked for 15 years in Bhutan, Albania, Nepal, Vietnam and Egypt as a leadership and management trainer. He is the author of books and blogs on authentic leadership, management, love and lust, courage and despair, Vajrayana Buddhism, intercultural collaboration, climate action, and changing the world from the inside out.

Diederik has been with Shambhala since the early nineties, and is inspired by (and trained in) family constellations, NLP, conscious connected breathing, reiki, deep democracy, the Daring Way (Brené Brown), rekindling desire (Esther Perel), nonviolent communication, leadership embodiment, and Theory U. He loves meditation, breathwork, mountain hiking, fitness, reading, writing, friends and (some) family, music (Springsteen, Sia), touch and food.
