Manon Danker

Manon Danker

Manon Danker is an experienced facilitator who completed her training with Joanna Macy. More about Manon on her website and in this interview Featured Facilitator

Manon Danker is a sociologist, environmental researcher and deep ecologist. From a very young age nature has been her wisdom keeper, medicine, solace and companion. Since her early twenties she sought for ways to support living in harmony with Earth. Her path meanders through academia, spiritual traditions and being with the land. She is deeply inspired by the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh and attended his teachings for over a decade. She worked in nature reserves in Indonesia and Peru and is involved in nature awareness education in The Netherlands.

In 2015 Manon completed her training in The Work That Reconnects with Joanna Macy. In this work she found a powerful toolkit to come together, heal our relationship with ourselves, humankind and Earth. A place to nourish active hope and celebrate the wonder of life. She facilitates workshops regularly.

Since 2017 The Work That Reconnects is regularly offered at the Shambhala Centre Leiden, Holland, by Manon Danker and Shambhala teacher Lida Hospers-Klein, who will also be co-facilitator at DCL.
