ALL IN ZEN!
Being on stage, in Zen, learns to free oneself from fear and to express oneself from the depths of oneself, being completely engaged in action.
With ALL IN ZEN ! Gérard Etienne invites you to practice the Zen practices, energy and theatrical practices that he has had the joy of meeting. The workshop will take place in a beautiful and energetic place place, Dechen Chöling, a residential practice center of the Shambhala Buddhist community Shambhala Buddhist community in Europe. The center is located in the lush countryside of the Limousin in Saint-Yrieix-sous-Aixe, near Limoges.
Zen is above all presence, quality of being, full attention to what one does, to what one to what we live. It is an extraordinary setting in the world. Zen develops openness to the Other, to what surrounds us, with compassion, in a state of joyful wonder.
The energetic practices practices are the physical implementation of this joy.
The stage of the theater is a high place of realization. To stand in front of the gaze of others requires a real inner stability. Being on stage, in Zen, teaches one to free oneself from fear and to express oneself from one’s depths, completely engaged in the action. The stage is the art of connecting to the intimate, to the feeling to share its emotions, its creativity and its spontaneity
ALL IN ZEN ! is a training of the body and the voice, of the mind and the heart. The
workshop invites to live a few days in full consciousness in an extraordinary place, in the
heart of Limousin.
Daily schedule and content
In the morning, we will use practices related to the Chinese traditions of Zen and energy arts
to and energy arts to release tension and recharge our batteries.
7h00 – 8h00: Grand prostrations, meditative sitting, chanting and mantra recitation.
9h00 – 12h00: Qi Gong, Tai Ji Quan, Ba Gua Zhang, slow walking, meditative dance…
In the afternoon we will borrow from the theater, to exercise our stability and creativity.
Day of arrival: October 23rd: You are invited to arrive around 3pm to check in and settle in your room. Dinner is served at 6:45 pm.
End of the program: October 28 in the evening.
Departure day: October 29: No program. You are welcome to stay until lunchtime.
This program will be taught in French.

Please note that the 300 euros for the course itself is due to the teacher Gérard Etienne and must be paid independently.
