Exploring the notion of groundlessness can feel threatening, it means not hanging on to or holding on to anything – suspended, suspended in space for a few moments or longer.

But from another point of view groundlessness is very good news: liberation from false trappings, freedom from conventional formats or expressions that we believe we “must, should, have to” perform.

Art is communication. In the “art” world there is an area labeled “open expression”,  “abstract”, “free form” through which people attempt to communicate using unconventional mediums, forms, sounds, movement, words etc. Their “success” in communicating from themself to another will depend on the  “artist’s” genuine or authentic heart/mind, without any intention to impress, suppress or be successful.

It is said when this happens “something unconditional has happened, or is happening”, thus art can cross oceans of time and space.

What we will do

First we will colour outside the box, then develop from there.
