Our sitting meditation practice sometimes feels like a struggle with our own mind and our habitual parries. These moments represent a crucial opportunity for transitions in our practice. In these moments, it is by relaxing completely with ourselves, our thoughts, our judgements and what is happening in our lives, that we cross the threshold of trust.

This is the beginning of another relationship with ourselves and other beings, a more spacious, warmer relationship. This broadening of our horizon is traditionally called “panoramic vision” or Vipashyana, which is the vision that comes from the heart and opens the door to the heart.

The Shambhala teachings teach us to contact this wisdom of the heart at all times, which is also called fundamental goodness.

We will also take advantage of the spring to pay homage to the abundant nature of Dechen Chöling and go on long meditative walks.

It is simply a matter of feeling, without trying to fix or change anything. Feeling is an almost tactile feeling of being alive, present in our senses and emotions. It is a total acceptance of our humanity.
