Come and discover meditation at the Dechen Chöling Shambhala Centre, near Limoges. This programme is free of charge and open to all, on the first Sunday of each month, from 10am to 5pm.
The programme is taught by an experienced meditation instructor. Participants who have never meditated before will receive meditation instruction. Meditators of all levels as well as Dechen Chöling staff, are welcome.
This day is coordinated by two volunteers from our local meditation group. Teachings and instruction are given in French. If you require translation into English, please inquire at [email protected]
Programme
This month, we will be looking at a specific topic: “Eco-Dharma: meeting environmental challenges with meditation”.
From 9 am to 12:30, we will meditate and offer a brief teaching on the work of Joanna Macy, an American Buddhist and ecophilosopher. For more on Macy and her work, click HERE.
L. After lunch, from 2 pm to 5 pm, there will be another meditation session and a workshop on the “Work that Reconnects” as a way of putting the teachings into practice.

Lunch
You are cordially invited to have lunch at the centre, at the price of 14€. If you wish to have lunch with us, please register at least two days in advance at the link provided below.
Donations to the centre are also welcome.
Practical Information
Schedule: arrive Sunday morning at 9:45 am to start session at 10 am. Lunch at the centre is served at 12:30. This is optional and costs €14 (please register below). The afternoon session starts at 2:15 pm, and the programme ends at 5 pm.
Venue: The Dechen Chöling Meditation Centre is located in Saint-Yrieix-sous-Aixe (le Mas Marvent), about a 20-minute drive from Limoges.
