Valérie Limon

A French-English teacher in a vocational high school, Valérie has been living in Nantes since the summer of 2022. She began meditation and Dharma study through the Shambhala path at the Shambhala Paris center in 2003, and was part of the Karuna Faculty in Contemplative Psychology in France and Europe from 2005 to 2020. A Vajrayana student in the Shambhala community from 2009 to 2019, Valérie has also served the Sangha as a translator, instructor and teacher on a variety of programs. In recent years, she has continued to deepen her spiritual journey with an open and inquisitive approach to the universal dimension of the paths of awakening to Consciousness. She is particularly sensitive to questions relating to eco-dharma, communication and the mindfulness approach to emotions, as well as to the need to integrate the dimension of individual and collective traumas, and the latest contributions of contemporary psychology (notably attachment mode theory, polyvagal theory and the importance of self-regulation and co-regulation of the nervous system) in the service of a spirituality anchored in daily life and committed to the flourishing of living beings and the establishment of a good human society.
