Dear Shambhala Friends,
Our Fundraising Campaign has come to an end and we have raised the total amount of €49,000. I would like to thank you all for your generous support! It is deeply appreciated in the midst of the ongoing challenges we are facing.
We did not manage to cover our entire deficit through our year end fundraising, but we feel that through continuous efforts to watch our expenses carefully we can create greater stability for Dechen Chöling´s finances again. And we will further explore what might be the right avenues for Dechen Chöling in terms of programming, as well as how we can become even more ecologically aware, since this is of highest importance to many of us.
Our programmes for 2020 are online and I invite you to have a look! Registering now for any programmes you may be planning to attend in 2020 is also very helpful to us.
To increase our rather small team for the season we will soon post some job openings, so keep an eye out in case you are interested. And as mentioned, it is always helpful to come here and be part of our MIA programme. Please consider lending a hand in one of our departments for some weeks this year.
