The program ”Find Your Balance Mindfulness Training”  is an educational  program incorporating three fundamental wellness principals. These principals are mindfulness, expressive arts, and body/nature awareness.

Find Your Balance Mindfulness Training offers a unique approach, employing tools participants will use to support a return to emotional, physical, and social wellness. During this journey, you will rebuild a sane relationship with yourself and your life.

Employing techniques of meditation practice and mindfulness in daily living, you will learn essential and beneficial techniques intended to regulate and improve self-awareness. We will discover ways to increase self-awareness of bodily connections, and how to better manage emotions.

Several studies of occupational stress (burnout) and stress in daily living demonstrate the need to offer a multidisciplinary approach intended to support individuals in reclaiming a new space to have a sane life.

“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” Viktor E. Frankl.

Through the use of body work, yoga practice, guided meditation, and discovery/rediscovery of a profound connection with nature, we learn how to reestablish essential human connection with themselves and the essence of being human.

Find Your Balance Mindfulness Training incorporates meditation practices, individual and group exchanges, artistic expression (even for the non-artist!) and mindful movement workshops. The experience of being in a beautiful natural setting is a key feature of this training experience.

“You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf.” Jon Kabat-Zinn.

This retreat will support you in finding improved self-esteem, self-confidence, and emotional self-management are the target goals of this program.

Find Your Balance Mindfulness Training provides the essential tools needed to successfully move forward into the new year. This introductory training is open to all – beginners and more advanced participants. We can all train in these essential practices and create greater personal resilience and learn how to better manage life’s daily challenges
